Bridal lingerie may not really seem that big a deal but it one of the highly neglected items on a woman’s list while doing her wedding shopping. Women get so worked up with planning their wedding that they leave lingerie shopping for the last minute. What woman hasn’t been dreaming of her wedding since she was a little girl? Well considering that you were probably dreaming of your fairy tale wedding as a kid instead of listening to the teacher in math class, it is easy to forgive you for your lapse. Well start thinking about buying your bridal lingerie today. Or it’ll only get more complicated.

There are special shops for lingerie but none that specialise only in bridal needs. The girl getting married is as confused sometimes as the person selling it. Also having way too much of a choice can be bad too. It can cause you to get overwhelmed with all those options. So the designer enters the picture. They try and get you the best suited to your needs, they don’t always make them, but may put them together for you. The problem here is that they might push you into things that you might not be comfortable with. So why not d the shopping yourself, of course giving yourself plenty of time and leaving everything for the last minute. There certainly a few pointers that would be of immense help.

Dress
The first step would be to match the right underwear for your big day. You surely do not want to goof up on the day when all eyes will be on you. Not to mention look good in the photos that will be a reminder for a life time. The fit of the dress would depend a lot on the bra that you would be wearing. So you need to keep that in mind way in advance.

Age
With age are bodies are different. What might be good for a young girl might not be the right choice for an older bride.

Weather
Cottons for summer are a must. You can wear silk but nylons should be a definite no-no.

Community
Some communities may be more traditional and so it is of utmost importance that you choose accordingly.

Family
When you are involved in a joint family, it is necessary to keep realise that everybody would be curious about every piece of attire and would comment accordingly.

Personality
If you believe that you would look good in lace then definitely go for lace. That is what you are, sugar and spice. But pain and smart if what suits you, then do not let anyone dictate otherwise. For after all it is you who will be wearing it.

Shape
If you are statuesque, then too much cleavage could just end up looking vulgar. Leave the very low V’s and scooped ones for those who are not as blessed.

Groom
Yes. The groom. Of course you need to keep the groom in mind when selecting your bridal lingerie. After all, he is the Groom!

Comfort
If you are not comfortable, it will show and ruin everything. Yes, go in for the latest; go in for what looks good but not at the cost of comfort.
