Christine Bleakley has been making the news quite often lately due to revelation of her new relationship with famous footballer Frank Lampard.
However, before Lampard and her introduction into the WAG society she was a star of her own merit. Bleakley started life at the Daisy Hill Hospital in Country Down, Ireland born to her parents Frederick and Mina.
While studying for her A-levels Bleakley pursued a television career which begin as a runner and progressed as she trained towards the floor manager position at Bloomfield Collegiate.
After completing her A-levels Bleakley started to work on a politics degree but decided instead to quit her coursework and move towards television as a full time choice.
She moved on to the Belfast Citybeat as a presenter and news reader where she worked up until 97 as a presenter. From there, she hosted many shows such as Sky High, First Stop, and the cooking show Spill the Beans. Of course, since August of 2007 Bleakley has been known to most as the co-host to the BBC’s The One Show alongside of Adrian Chiles.
She also appeared in August of 2009 on Shooting Stars as a panel member and on the panel of Would I Lie to You on September of 2009. Additionally she competed in Strictly Come Dancing with partner Matthew Cutler but was eliminated after ten shows in a dance off against Rachel Stevens.
