Make up that makes pale and dark black skin stand out!

Pale Black Skin

This makeup look will suit you if your hair is black with red or golden high lights (maybe with even grey flecks in them), eyes are brown and skin is beautifully black. This look is emphasised with shades that are earthy. Copper, beige and brown will complement your skin wonderfully! The trick to a flawless skin is, after the foundation, lightly dust on some translucent face powder that matches your tone perfectly so that the complexion doesn’t end up with a chalky look. Dust off any excess using downward strokes with a large powder brush. Brush some ivory toned shadow over the entire eyelids which will create a contrast to the warm tones of your skin. Then smudge some deep brown shadow into the creases and blend it well. Also work some of this shadow into the outer corners and under the lower lashes to give a really striking look to your eyes. Sweep a line of black liquid eyeliner to the upper lashes. Hello Super Model! Apply this while looking down into a hand held mirror. This will stretch out the creases from the eyelids to ensure a smooth application. Finish with two coats of black mascara.

Line lips with a brown lip liner. To fill in the corners, stretch your mouth into an O shape and then do the needful. You can even a brown eye pencil if that’s all you have. Blend it into the lips for a softer effect. Finally, fill a neutral shade of brownish pinkish lipstick which would give a natural sheen and instantly updates the look. If you want a perfect finish, use a lip brush.

Deep Black Skin

You can be as risky with the colour combinations as you want. The possibilities are endless! Your skin cries out for these shades to get that fabulous glow. Apply a perfect match a foundation with a damp sponge for a sheer effect. Blend this in really well along the hairline and jaw to avoid any tidemarks. Set this with a dusting of translucent powder. Now go on and smudge some dark currant shadow over the eyelids. Hold on! Before you do that, dust some loose powder under the eyes which will catch any eye shadow that might fall on your face and ruin the foundation. Now brush some charcoal eye shadow into the creases of the eyelids but make sure to apply a little colour at a time so that it does not spill onto the eyelids. Line your lower lashes with this shadow too using an eyeliner brush. Don’t forget that mascara!

Brush some tawny brown shade of rouge over the apple of your cheeks and blend into the hairline. Outline your lips with a toning lip pencil and fill it in with a plum lipstick using a lip brush. Always remember to apply makeup with a light touch to get that up to date fresh look.
