Young British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran is causing quite a buzz through the industry at the minute with his eclectic mix folk, acoustics and hip-hop. As with all young stars, everyone wants to know everything about them, especially their clothes and what are their favourite labels. Sheeran is one of the stars of the iTunes festival, and clothing company ASOS caught up with him behind the scenes to discuss what he thinks style is, and they recorded it for posterity.
He talks frankly about his relaxed attitude to clothes and how he used to sleep on friends sofas, and whatever he had in his backpack at the time he would wear. Sheeran’s style is best describes as casual, in the loosest sense of the word. He admits to the fact that on occasion he has had to wear a suit and while he enjoyed dressing up for a while, it wasn’t really him and he was glad to get back into his old favourites.
This is just one of a series of short videos which ASOS has shot at the iTunes festival, they all feature up and coming artists or groups who are relevant to today’s lifestyles and culture and make for interesting viewing. You can tell by his and relaxed style on the video that Sheeran is a man who knows his own mind, and has a style of his own that he is more than happy with.
