This winter`s fashion statement is classy, sexy yet manly. The dress is definitely making a strong come back, pencil skirts are still here, and coats are belted. Although not exactly figure hugging, current fabrics are designed to be close fitting but comfortable. Textures include pleats, ruffles and wrinkles, while fabrics are dominated by feather weight wools and overworked cottons. Revamped tweeds and fake furs are everywhere and checks fit nicely with the whole winter comfort ethos. Colours are mainly raspberry red, burgundy, cool blue, purple and muted moss green. Pouch bags are popular for carrying mobile phones and handbags are very much patent leather, buckles and shoulder straps.

To compliment this winter`s style, women`s jewellery is very much an `in your face` statement. It is brash, bold and larger than life. Get yourself noticed with oversized bracelets and knuckle duster rings, chunky necklaces and glitzy hair slides.
