If you haven’t seen Madonna’s new video “Girl Gone Wild” you better have a look pretty quick or you might miss the latest trend in men’s wear. To watch this irreverent material girl undulate and exude raw sex, you’d forget in a hot second that she’s been at it for about 30 years and that she’s now in her 50′s.
Madonna has sparked yet another bizarre fashion trend and Leggs must be throwing the switch on mass production of large and medium-large pantyhose – now labeled Mantyhose, or Guylons, or Brosiery, whichever you like – but they’re for men, for sure.
Her music video features a slew of buff hunks doing erotically oriented gymnastics dressed in tights (oops, Mantyhose) and stiletto heels and nothing else and look they knock-outs, all of them. Seems it has to do with the Italian hosiery designer Emilio Cavallini, and the company’s vice-president, who says he noticed that medium-large pantyhose were selling on their e-commerce site to a surprising number of men.
So Cavallini reckons it’s a trend, what with some high-profile hunks dressing up their lower torsos with black or checkerboard or skull-print really really skin-tight ‘pants’ (and we use that word advisedly).
