There are certain things no woman would ever dream of doing. Well, maybe some might, but they really shouldn’t. Of course you would never wear seamed stockings with open toed sandals. That would just be way too obvious. But, however dedicated a fashionista you could be, there is always the risk of goofing up. Sometimes it just can’t be helped. So it is always better to take some precautions and make some safe guards. Here are some of the most obvious mistakes that are possible to make without really realizing that a mistake has been made.
FFF- Foolishly Following Fashion Trends
So you read all fashion magazines. You stack all the reference books ever written. You may even religiously watch every fashion show on television and read the newspapers daily to see if anything new has been spotted on the streets. So isn’t that a good thing, you ask? It isn’t. A person can seriously run the risk pf turning into a fashion victim with all this. What the media portrays is something that is usually unattainable. Clothes on runways are presented that are fabulously expensive and are hung on models that have figures that are usually not practical to have. So if you know that your budget is not really high and have to settle for cheap imitations, it really is best to not follow it at all.
Buying Clothes That Are Not The Right Size
Everyone knows that one should not buy clothes that are way too small. We all live in hope that it would definitely look great one day when we lose a certain amount of weight. But of course that day never really comes too soon and when and if it does come, we realize we just no longer like the dress. But there are other things that a person must focus on too while buying clothes. Jacket sleeves need to be just the perfect length and hem lines can really make an outfit or even break it. Tailoring and alteration is always needed while buying clothes. That always has to be kept in mind. The little investment goes a long way.
Mish-mash wardrobes
Don’t we all buy stuff that we see on sale even though it does not go with anything we own? We know that we might never really even wear it. But we do buy it because it was a steal. And then once we have bought it, we feel guilty if wee do not wear it. And so we do. Teamed with clothes and accessories that really don’t match but still live with the hope that we might just pull it off. What we end up looking like is most probably a colourful scarecrow.
Wrong Underwear
Wearing the wrong bra can really make a gorgeous top look pretty awful. But celebrities go the extra mile to really look good on the red carpet. They stuff themselves into slimmers and corsets and even resort to putting on sticky tape to look good. So if they do all that, just a little change in our daily underwear can work wonders on us ordinary folk.
