Established in 1996, Henleys started out designing men’s shirts this then developed into a full casual menswear range. Six years later it made the leap into women’s clothing and now has a denim range and sells accessories as well. It is recognised as a true lifestyle brand.
T-shirts come with the company logo but others are distinguished by the intricate detailing and quite elaborate designs. The v-neck jumper is one of its many simple silhouettes that are seen as staples of Henley’s range. Sporty stripes are always popular and colours often bright and fun.
The jeans designed by the brand are identified as a great fitting pair to have in the wardrobe. There are usually at least half a dozen to choose from all with great design elements and the height of fashion. A Henleys jacket combines warmth and practicality, with a great sense of style.
Casual clothing for men will always be at the heart of Henley’s designer collection with an excellent line in polo shirts and tee shirts. Again the logo is a key feature but the boundaries have been pushed and this brand utilises its name to great affect. Not dissimilar to the infamous soft drink manufacturer the Henley name is now very distinctive and easily recognised. Men who love this designer, like to wear it much more than, just on their sleeve. It is loud and brash but never gaudy or offensive.
The men’s knitwear collection is much more understated ideally suited for a man’s preference to layer when dressing casually. It is a timeless look that suits all ages and Henley’s are seemingly well aware of this fact. Colours are brighter for hoodies but it returns to more muted tones for the jacket collection.
A Henley gilet is a great investment that can be worn all year round, for chilly summer evenings when out for a stroll or just to pop out for the papers on a crisp spring morning.
The excellent reputation that the company has built is well deserved. Their strength in the world of men’s casual clothing is to be applauded and no doubt their increasing range of watches and accessories will be just as successful. The existing nine UK retail stores have become an essential part of the high street and Henley’s also have an excellent online shop which more people are now choosing to buy from.
