If we lived in a perfect world, we would all always have great hair. Our trips to the salon would never be a nightmare. After all, who hasn’t cried in the hairdresser’s chair at least once? We all want to look like what we have imagined but hardly anyone ever does. We rarely ever get what we visualized for ourselves when we walked through that salon’s door. Things go wrong. Even an expert makes mistakes. More often than not that expert has something totally different planned for us. That is when we want to hide ourselves within the safety confines of the four walls of our house and never ever leave again till that hair grows out. Hiding the terrible haircut can be tricky. But it is possible to make hair sort of half way decent with the correct styling tools and applying the right tricks.

You might tell yourself not to panic the moment you lay your eyes on your reflection in the mirror but it is easier said than done. Yelling, screaming and basically making yourself miserable is not going to make that hair grow out any faster than it intends to do so. But6 despite that, you do have the right to put your foot down and complain to the management that you are unhappy with your hair. You did pay for it! Most of the time, the stylist does usually offer to redo the hair with the hope of finding a more appropriate style for you. But this might not necessarily help you. Yu might be able to get a haircut that won’t make you want to kill yourself every time you look at yourself in the mirror. Hold that thought though. She or he was the one to spoil your hair in the first place. Think about it. She might just make it worse. If this does thought does worry and concern you then decline the offer politely and ask for a stylist who has a better record of given good hairstyles and cuts.

If you totally want to avoid looking at that cut, tie it up. Put it in a bun or into a ponytail. There are loads of ways to not make that pony or bun boring. Accessorise, accessorise, accessorise. Wear a funky hair band, put clips or even combs. The list is endless. Try adding a little flower that instantly updates your look and is bound to make you feel pretty again. Use booby pins, not just the black ones but something colourful.

If you have got a really bad bob, add volume. Ruffle it up. Add curls with a curling iron. That is sure to disguise it. Spike bangs gone bad or cut them even further. If the hair has been cut really short, use lots of gel or pomade. Change the shape.

The most important thing is to not tell anyone about the bad cut. People might not even notice it till you mention it to them. Just keep mum till it grows out and you’ll sure be a lot happier.
