I’m A Celebrity – Advice for the Celeb on Looking Good from Jules Standish

As this week sees the beginning of I’m A Celebrity, the nation will be glued to the TV screens once again to see how the celebs fare in the extreme conditions of the Australian jungle. After a week of near starvation, extreme weather conditions and revolting bush tucker trials they are going to need all the help they can get to keep up their confidence and morale trying to look good for the cameras. As we all know they are only allowed to take into the jungle 1 item of their choice.

Jules Standish, Celebrity Colour Consultant (www.colourconsultancy.co.uk) looks at what make up the celebrity females should be taking into the jungle to help them look their best under such harsh conditions. She also tells us what colours and styles they should be wearing when they come out from their stay in the jungle to ensure they look amazing for all the publicity shots, and TV appearances.

Katie Price

Katie is naturally gorgeous but needs a lot of fake tan to cope with her unnatural black hair, so I would give her a big tube to take into the jungle with her.

On her departure, she will no doubt get into her dynamic vibrant pinks which look great with the black hair and dark skin she has created – she needs strong shades to compliment such a strong character. Personally I think she should ditch all the black and go back to being the natural beauty she is! With Kate’s body, a figure hugging mini dress and gladiators will show off her incredibly toned legs and fabulous physique.

Sam Fox

Sam has a golden yellow based skin tone and will tan a beautiful golden bronze. I would give her some mascara to keep her lovely eyes sparkling. Like Lucy she will tan well so her face will automatically get some colour in it.

For her publicity shots, Sam always makes a great model and with her golden skin tones will look fabulous in all the yellows and turquoise is her best colour for showing off a tan. As she’s looks as good as she did 20 years ago she can still show off her body to the maximum in low cut tops and figure hugging skirts and jeans.

Sabrina Washington

Sabrina has gorgeous dark looks and needs really strong colours to harmonise with her skin tone and features. I would send her into the jungle with some red lipstick to bring out the colour in her lips.

On her way out and for all those PR opportunities I would combine black which she can wear away from her face with some really bold colours like bright blue and red to make her really shine but she does need to keep away from anything pastel which will cool down her naturally warm skin. Sabrina has a gorgeous figure and is young enough to get away with fashionable skimpy shorts teamed with a fitted top and a big waisted belt worn with the new look kitten heels!

Kim Woodburn

Kim needs to be careful to keep her face out of the sun so I would give her some tinted moisturiser in a beige/honey warm colour to keep her skin looking glowing and healthy.

On her exit Kim should wear warm corals and peaches combined with purples and blues to compliment her complexion and bring out the colour in her eyes. Kim should steer clear of black and really dark colours up against her face as they will be very ageing for her. A flowing long tunic top pulled in with a belt over leggings or wide trousers would be a great look for her.

Lucy Benjamin

Lucy has warm skin and will tan easily, I would send her into the jungle with some golden brown eyeshadow to bring out the colour and strength of her eyes. Her skin will tan automatically and therefore her face will look healthy without cosmetics.

Emerging from the jungle I would put Lucy in warm, earthy toned colours; oranges and olive greens combined with all the browns and creams with some lovely gold jewellery – Lucy has a curvaceous figure and is in great shape so she suits dresses that figure hug and flatter with low v-neck tops and skirts that end above her knees.

Camilla Dallerup

Camilla has lovely soft fair features, and pale skin and hair and the best piece of cosmetic she should take into the jungle is some peachy blusher to keep some colour in her cheeks – she should be careful not to be in the sun too much with her delicate skin.

Coming out of the jungle she should dress in clear, bright colours; aqua blues and lime greens, and whilst she can go more into pastel shades, she needs to be careful to make sure she doesn’t cool down her colours too much or this will wash out her skin tone. With such fantastic legs and lovely slim athletic frame, Camilla should opt for a flirty dress with ruffles to enhance her body shape.

LOL – you could be right.

Just spotted the odds reported on the chances of Katie Price starting a new relationship. Apparently Boylesports go 6/1 that she will be hunting a new mate in the jungle and start another relationship on this year’s show, while William Hill offer 100/1 she meets husband No 2 in the jungle.

  3. Camilla Fleming Says:

That Stuart Manning doesn’t need any “looking good tips” i’ll tell you that for Free! Stuart Manning looks good, and i agree, i think he will get off with Katie Price
