It is going to be the most famous wedding gown in decades, and the latest rumours to surface regarding Kate Middleton’s dress is that she is having 3 designs made up. She has reportedly asked 3 designers to create a dress, to ensure that there can be no leakage of her dress before the day.
While nothing has been confirmed, the 3 designers chosen for this great honour are said to be Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, Jasper Conran and Princess Diana’s favourite designer Bruce Oldfield. Bruce sparked speculation on Good morning America when he appeared to leak details of the day. He said that it was going to be a morning wedding and that she was having a special dress to change into for the ball in the evening.
Burton, who took over at the helm of the British label following the tragic death of Lee McQueen last year, has been a hot favourite since the beginning. According to a report in the Sunday Times, Ms Middleton had had her heart set on a dress from the fashion house since 2005, when she attended the wedding of her friend Sara Buys, who wore a Mcqueen gown when she wed Tom Parker Bowles.
