Oscar de la Renta and Valentino were both at Diane Von Furstenberg, and they were wearing almost exactly the same thing. The two designers are known for their fashion as well as their singing. Both of them were sitting in the front row and their matching outfits narrowly avoided being a fashion mistake.
At Fashion’s Night Out, which occurred last week, Mr de la Renta was seen wearing a khaki suit with an open collared blue shirt. Valentino was last noted for performing great renditions of ‘Unforgettable’ and ‘My Way,’ at Carine Roitfeld’s party where he also wore a blue shirt, but with a tie.
With the synced outfits, some other people at the event could be thinking that they were going to perform some singing together, but in an interview later it turns out that it was nothing more than a coincidence.
The collection that was being shown by Diane Von Furstenberg was mostly made up of sportswear that had been decorated with many floral patterns and bright and vibrant colours. The outfits themselves were seen to be inspired by the art of Andy Warhol.
Some of the clothes seen at the event came were complimented with small belts that had pockets attached, some outfits even came with backpacks that matched the colours of the clothes. There were also some tweed outfits in the show, some had simple cuts and others were very nicely draped. When the show ended she took a bow while some members of the audience waved small US flags that had been handed out earlier.
