permanent makeup Permanent Makeup

Who wouldn’t want to look fabulous day in and day out? It would be so great if we could rush out of the house without worrying about our make up every time. Well, it is possible with cosmetic tattooing. Derma graphics, micro pigment implantation, micropigmentantion are the techniques used to apply permanent make up onto the skin. There are many ways this is done. There is the traditional method which is done using a coil machine. Then it can also be done using a pen which is also known as a rotary machine. And the last method is the method which does not use a machine but hands instead.

Some of the most common cosmetic procedures that are done would be getting a lip liner drawn or the entire lips filled in with colour. Lining the top and bottom lash lines is another popular permanent tattoo done. Eyelash enhancement and getting the eyebrows reshaped and filled in are some more of the procedures that can be done. Other than this, acne scars can also be treated by getting skin grafts, scars can be camouflaged with permanent concealer, and the look of hair can be imitated. But these are not normally done by dermatologists. These are para medical processes and can only be done by technicians who have undergone advanced and extensive treatment.

Getting permanent cosmetics done is not an instant procedure though. Many appointments and consultations are needed before the procedure is actually carried out. After the initial consultation which involves testing the sensitivity is done, the first application is followed. This takes around two hours to do and requires at least another few more follow up appointments. During these follow up appointments, the pigment is adjusted according to the skin tone. Sometimes even the shape of the colour has to be adjusted according to how your face takes it. This is not a cheap affair and it can cost around six hundred for the simplest of procedures. If it requires advanced methods, the cost could be around a hundred and fifty dollars per hour.

This process is not only done by those for vanity purposes but also by people who have a variety of skin conditions that need to be treated. People who are extremely sensitive to many cosmetics can benefit from this since they will not have to use those products on their skin everyday. Women undergoing chemotherapy, recovering from a burn, experiencing alopecia, or having vision problems benefit from this immensely too. Physically active people too who cannot afford to constantly retouch their make up prefer this to everyday make up.

This is invasive so you might suffer from a little discomfort at least. A topical cream is used to numb the skin which reduces the pain. This is a life altering procedure so make sure that the technician that you choose has enough experience. At least forty hours should be the minimum. He should also be a member of the society of permanent cosmetics. Make sure that the place is hygienic and fresh needles are used. As long as you have done your homework and taken all possible precautions, you could be on the road to freedom.
