Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few years, you will be aware that next year London is hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games. This is a great honour and the whole country has been gripped by Olympic fever. One of the most prestigious parts of the whole Olympic experience is the carrying of the Olympic torch.
To find next year’s torch bearers, Coca Cola are running a great campaign they have called ‘Future Flames’. They are aiming to find inspirational people who have a burning passion and believe that they have that extra special something that should make them and Olympic torch bearer.
This burning passion can be about absolute anything, and to highlight a burning passion in music and other passions, they have released a series of short videos featuring the talented young British band ‘The Wanted’. Known as the Future Flame Challenges, the group are handed a challenge at the beginning of the video then we see them practicing it before demonstrating it to an adjudicator from Coca Cola.
The challenge in the Future Flames 3 video see the boys having to do keepy ups with a football. They have to keep the ball up using their feet or legs for as long as possible without touching it with their hands or letting it hit the floor. There is much laughter as you can imagine and they all wonder if Jay can manage more than two.
When they complete the challenge they are handed an Olympic flame trophy and tell us to nominate someone who has a burning passion for sport.
