In a new video advert for Adidas, the company proves that their shoes are made to let women go ‘all in’ as they feature everyone from Caroline Wozniacki to Katy Perry rocking their new autumn trainers as they go about their daily activities. True, the typical girl is not going to spend her day dancing, DJ’ing, and kicking around in the same pair of shoes, but if you were to Adidas is out to prove that you could as part of their new promotional video for the brand that features a real mish mash of activity of sounds.
Set to an upbeat song, it is a little odd that the company did not decide to have Katy Perry do the voice over, given her presence in the video, but perhaps Adidas figured just seeing her face pop up here and there would be enough to show viewers that Adidas means business. The girls are seen flipping around, shots changing back and forth at the pace of a strobe light, and the beats of the music moving viewers along there is not actually all that much attention on the actual shoes, which is kind of cool.
No need to worry however, because by the end of the one minute advert you will be caught up in the thrill the girls seem to be enjoying, and aching to grab a new pair of Adidas so that your life will become much more thrilling as well. Seriously though, the video does paint an exciting, engaging, and vibrant picture of what the Adidas brand is supposed to mean for those who wear it, and it is an enticing image for those who are young and those who are still young at heart to indulge while out at the stores shopping this autumn.
